It's crucial to take a lot of poor photos. The poor ones are the ones that have to do with something you've never done before. They have the ability to make you remember something you haven't seen before in such a way that you can recognise it when you see it again.

Color is removed from black and white photography, allowing the viewer to concentrate on other elements of the image, such as the subject, colors, shapes and patterns, and composition.
